Habitat:

 

Campylobacter is found in the intestines of animals.

 

Importance:

 

Campylobacter is one of the most common causes of diarrhea.

 

Classification:

 

Campylobacter is a thin-walled, spiral-shaped bacterium.  It often grows in environments that have little oxygen.
